 I'm not convinced that will happen. I have some lingering foot issues that are not fixable, to my knowledge. I think I will always need some kind of footwear for at least a layer of protection for when I hike over rocky terrain. Plus, I'm not going barefoot in the winter. 😁 
 Oh yeah. U thought same.

Now I walk bare foot in the summer and trying to find appropriate barefoot shoes for winter.

(But for office I still need something more conservative unfortunately) 
 My work boots still fit very well, thankfully. 

I think I might have one pair of "nice" shoes left, but I hope I don't have to wear them for a long time. (for example, to a funeral...)
