UPDATE: Patriot Act v2.0: US House Passes FISA 702 Surveillance Expansion 'Reform'
Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a two-year extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (“FISA 702”), a controversial warrantless spying authority, and in an extremely narrow tie vote, rejected critical reforms to stop rampant abuse of the law.

Nice! Passed it the very next day! 🖕🖕
Who's the patriot in this act?
Or is it a dumb question?
It is Orwellian “Newspeak”.
“Foreign” but they look into citizen’s text and emails.
“Intelligence” but they are so stupid, they can never catch the bad guys!
WTF?
The populous has allowed the Executive Branch to bribe/blackmail State Representatives into surreptitiously bypassing or repealing the 4th Amendment de facto without a 3/4th congressional vote.
American’s complacency will bring about a ‘1984’ for which the populous will rightfully deserve if they do nothing to counter such tyranny.
awesome, now cheer for democracy people....
They keep building panopticon; we keep building freedom tech.
