it's a web app, anyway, the main alby hub interface, and it has a wallet built into it

i'm not sure how you connect other things to it, for like amethyst and stuff there needs to be some kind of wallet connection, i don't think i even have zaps enabled on my mobile device, but if i did probably i'd be using Wallet of Satoshi because it's simple... mutiny has a wallet built in but their ToS are kinda shady because of google and shit but i guess on graphene with obtanium or fdroid or whatever it's a moot point

i keep hearing about NWC and alby hub so i guess there is probably a way to connect it 

 I have a start9 server, so I could host alby myself and skip their fee. That's appealing. But what's not do appealing is, I lost my password to my server, so I need to redo it. 

Or I could use walletofsatoshi and just always have VPN on... That's probably the easiest

 hm yes i think an email is required for alby in general 

 a cloud provider needs a way to message you and because of certain stupidities in nostr they can't rely on using nostr DMs

if running it on start9 requires an email it's probably to send you messages about the state of it

 It used to require Alby Account to launch it, since few releases it doesn't anymore.
You can run the Hub without having Account at Alby.

You can receive e-mail notification when it's linked (check in Hub's "Connections" tab)
