This is actually a really amazing time to be alive because people are changing the world by just doing stuff. What Germans call "konkludentes Handeln" ("implied in fact"), where you end up becoming the Person Who Does This Thing by just getting up and doing it.

I mean, we joke about #NostrElites, but the actual Nostr Elites are the people who just, at some point, started doing stuff that needed to get done because they looked around and noticed nobody else was doing it. They put their hand up and said, "Me. Umm... yeah. I could probably do that."

And then they did it.

 In my experience, people often end up with responsibility when everyone else takes a step back. 

 True. There's actually no great, universal urge to be an elite. It's hard work and sacrifice. Even the elites sometimes want to run away. 😅  

 Yup. A couple of years back, I re-tooled myself to ‘just do it’ and chose nostr + ecash. Best decision ever. 

 Agency. What elites have, is agency. They act.
