In some regards, yes. But I believe he’s going to contribute ti some extent to open the eyes of the Islamic community around the world to Bitcoin. So he’s still useful.
His interview with Kostantin Kisin was rough. Just angry insults, no attempt to have a discussion. I even lean towards his stance on the conflict but couldn’t side with him in the debate.
tbh, i don't understand how killing civilians is justified when trying to save hostages. Why would civilians need to die for that to happen? KK is contradicting himself in that, no? He also said on a number of occasions that killing civilians is not ok, but in this situation it's justified? Help me out if i've misunderstood the vid. also i don't comment on israel palestine because i am ignorant of it
Absolutely, what’s happening to the people of Palestine is horrendous and nothing justifies it. But when the person arguing that is just slandering the person on the opposite side of the debate, the point is kind of lost. It can’t be easy to publicly debate Konstantin, but as a Saif fan I felt like he’s not well.
It’s not about who is right or wrong here. The history of the situation is very complicated and both sides have done much wrong. I was mainly focusing attention on him as a public figure who got high on fame and now is an expert on every topic - from diet to politics. It’s just sad.
Palestine clearly gets his passions up, being Palestinian. I don't feel the need to defend or attack him. Two or three things can be true, he can be a brilliant economist, a poor political debater on passionate topics and have many other opinions people don't want to hear. If people don't want to read the bitcoin standard because they don't like his opinions on Israel or food, it doesn't matter anyway. Bitcoin adoption is like gunpowder adoption 😉
