Build with other builders. I understand what you’re saying here but as long as you’re not putting more liquidity on your LN node than you’re willing to lose, then my personal take would be to build alongside your neighbor. Trust precedes verification.
What external harddrive are you using for your @umbrel node?
Just my personal preference, I prefer to buy products from those companies to support the project
