I'm at the point in my life now where I'm utterly drained by telemetry, privacy and all the other internet bullshit. I'm just gonna use the tool that I think is best for the job.

If Vivaldi are slurping up my data, then so be it, but I'm going to assume positive intent and hold them to their word that they're good privacy citizens.
I can understand firefox after mozilla changed faces & be came greedy data aggregators but the browser wasn't bad which I was appreciative at first. But then google had to come out with chromium & make that apart of web pages & applications so now lots of sites certain functions don't work properly. Forcing you to hey let me just use google chrome or a partners with google browser like brave or make it more inconvenient to try to stick to something more securely friendly by having functions break.

I get how your feeling with being drainrd by telemetry, data aggregation, & invasion of privacy when accepting tos & pp just to use a service. Thats the type of mindset they want everyone in so nobody makes an effort anymore they want your effort to feel hard & meaningless while they try to roadblock & cut off every possibility to live a private life. It's easy for them to do these things & they don't care because they know the common people will never be motivated enough to unite & do something about it.

No ceo is ever gunna wake up to a protest outside his house over a data aggregation collection technique being considered wrong & immoral. They trained the world years ago to be stuck in the cycle of work, eat, relax, sleep & anything else is stress. Positive vibes only because negative will destroy your eco & round around & round again we go anything else ain't nobody got time for dat, you got a problem post it on social.

Posts on social who gives a shit. That's why I think it's important to never give up, have hope, & seek knowledge in alternatives. Convenience does not require sacrifice or compromise. I would keep searching but if you stick with vivaldi I would search to see if their are ways to fully remove the telemetry collection. I know they had sidebar tabbing which was cool but I could find an extension to do that as well.
