The login has seen a number of refinements and the new one is tuned better we think to nostr/Lightning login  

All code is FOSS the way it should be 💪🧡 

 Why is it the worst?

It was very smooth for me. 

 The problem is it's a multi step process and not very private where it could just ask my nip07 to sign a message.

As it is, I can trivially get a list of all login events of all nostr users without much gain.

It is better than asking for the private key though. 

 Yeah we tried to avoid touching the private key. This is the best we came up with... 6 months ago or so.

Since then we pretty much rewrote the whole thing, including the log in. The new version just asks your extension to sign an event, but the event never gets sent to relays.

TIP: use your connected Lightning wallet to login on mobile and use your Alby (or equivalent browser extension) to login on nostr 

Sorry your art didn’t sell… no site can guarantee that and we are grass roots self funded, there is no marketing budget to drive buyers 

We recommend people share their products on their social networks and work it… don’t rely on a single post (often people do)

 I just now tried out nostr login with nos2x-fox and it was asking me to put in a message I received via IM which means that there was a permanent record created of me logging in just now. And it was much slower than need be.

I don't have a connected lightning wallet.

I had commissioned "crypto coffins". Just last week I got the complete batch but I'm not a marketing guy and apparently it was a weird idea :) I'll share the links when I find the time to upload photos of the whole set. 

 The new version, with improved Nostr log in, is not live yet. Coming in 2 weeks. Final bug fixes and testing underway. What you tried is a very old version of our Nostr log in which worked by sending you a DM. We use the extension to log in now. 

 In a few weeks, we'll have a Nostr-based login, besides a lot of other improvements in UX/UI.

Do you have a Nostr extension? Then you just click "Use Nostr extension" and you're set.
