There's an android release, definitely isn't as polished as #amethyst
Reinstall it in a month. They are doing a big unreveal then.

Yes, I didnt think I was talking to Daniel. I thought I was asking you, Ava, what your thoughts are on Amethyst. The only other client I know is a simple client called Voyage. Right now, it seems options are limited in the USA, i am guessing
Ok. I thought there was a disconnect when you replied to his reply on my post. Glad we got that sorted :) Amethyst is my daily driver and has been since inception. There really isn't any competition that fills the void that Primal was supposed to fill, ie competition for Amethyst. The post was about me looking for a backup client to install alongside Amethyst. I like to have a backup to see how notes render in other clients and other things like that. Thank you for the suggestion. I am however not sure what you meant by, "it seems options are limited in the USA." I don't know of any regionally locked clients. How do you mean?
I am assuming other countries have their own clients. Don't quote me on it but I use Rabbit on desktop, and I think that is a Japanese client. They have relays we aren't even allowed to be on unless we live in Japan or are Japanese. So I am guessing, now that Nostr is forking all over the world, we don't see all the options. Especially in places that speak other languages. Again, don't quote me, I am assuming and that is why I said the USA (or maybe I should say English dominated Clients and Apps....I don't know I had seen Rabble say something about how people from other countries need to find people who speak their own language, he has been talking about it for a couple of weeks, so I don't know....i am going to exit this conversation lol)

Was waiting on someone to chime in with this. I agree. I'm looking for a backup on Android. I'm not harboring delusions about there being a real contender at this point.
I tried @Yana a while ago, it was ok but not comparable. When @freerse has amber support this would be an option. For now I go without backup client
I use Yakihonne, as my amethyst backup. Not really a "backup", mostly your writing long-form articles.

https://openvibe.social/ client is amazing but it's not open source and no option to login with Amber. But it's really a beautiful Nostr client.
