A little pushback here: If you mean Bitcoin does not need the people of America, its land, system of law, etc. then yes point taken. 

But Bitcoin was founded on the principles of what America used to stand for. These principles ARE America if America is to have any chance of enduring since much of the rest of the stuff we associate with America will wither and die...
