 Interestingly, my acid reflux is better or non-existent when I eat mostly fat/protein (animal sources) based meals. I usually have no problems if I eat a half dozen eggs fried in butter and covered in cheese. Add in bread or potatoes and I feel sick again. Actually, I feel quite good after having animal based fats and protein (even though I don't eat meat). I have almost no bloating and feel like I have more energy.

I think the carbs were causing my digestive issues, not the fats like I was told. I'm sure everyone is different, but I'm suspicious that fats are blamed for more things than they probably should be.
