 To people who say we have to nail the basics for people to stick around: you are correct.

To people who say no amount of copying existing apps is going to product a win (due to network effects): you are partially correct. 

Both are necessary: nailing the basics and exploring uniqueness enabled by nostr. 

My only slight disagreement: networks effects too strong to break. I 90% agree, but there's ALWAYS a chance to create an unexpected UX that sets a nostr client apart. We may not know what that experience looks like until it exists. Hence the experiments. 
 in addition to unexpected UX we can have unexpected conversations, people, and content that only happen on nostr. network effects are not insurmountable, but having parity with the features of existing products will never be enough. the new, different, and “unexpected” as you put it matter more
