 Penny pinching in the third world is shameless. Spread a little generosity around. They are grateful for it . For example I tip everyone here and they don’t expect it or feel entitled to it, it’s refreshing

 Even when they try and “screw you over” it’s for like $8 lol they probably think we are dumb Americans who don’t understand we are being hustled, but what they don’t understand is $8 is nothing to us. It doesn’t even register. Like go right ahead my man and bring another round of cerveza while you’re at it pot favor.

 I once paid a cab driver $100 to drive me from Managua Nicaragua out to the pacific coast. After that he wouldn't leave me and just became my driver and buddy for the whole trip. He would hook me up with all the good local ceviche and fun spots.
