Human Rights in Finance Foundation.EU Initiated Annulment Procedure for Travel Rule

"On September 4, 2023, HRIF.EU submitted the documents that mark the beginning of a cancellation procedure at the General Court of the European Union. The foundation aims to cancel a regulation that requires the unnecessary disclosure of private data in payment transactions and future crypto-asset transfers."

Denouncing human rights foundations?

Not trying to be pessimistic but specially with the EU, I don't think of a friendly regulation.

I mean a good/reasonable regulation would be awesome for crypto (fostering mass adoption), but most countries are not much keen on it.

Overall crypto might likely grow in spite of regulation than because of any government policy 😉
This is a great initiative and more needed than people realize. The financial action taskforce who created the travel rule is eroding due process ans human rights with its "recommendations". Shame the original interview is in German as it needs more reach
