Or “sharing” a UTXO like it’s a timeshare or something. As if Satoshi didn’t know there was gonna be a large number of people that would not own a UTXO, but rather transact at higher layers. 

But like I said, this is a non issue. Most people will prefer using ETFs or custodial LN through their bank or a Strike/CashApp. I mean, they are perfectly happy using digital dollars. 

 All that matters to me, is that it is equal opportunity. Everyone can have a UTXO if they want, but don't have to.

If someone doesn't have enough sats to pay for the fees, no one is stopping them from earning more and eventually have one.

It's almost as if some devs want equality of outcome, over equality of opportunity, because they're commies.

 Without self custody, it's all worthless as you lose every guarantee of it's good features. IOUs are not Bitcoin.
