new loiter altitude and endurance PR (still too scared to let it fly untethered after losing the Minke Mk1) https://image.nostr.build/495c1241aba1a05ff71812ef199219b6b6e08c85cfc3d89aa27c7fb2e8131eb8.jpg
Well done! Does your project have a blog somewhere?
 lufta.org
 H2 lifting gas?

Aluminised polymer envelope?

Pressurised?

Flight ceiling?

Feel free to tell me to shut up if any of those are commercial in confidence... :)
yep hydrogen, i use PU for the hulls currently (moving to ripstop nylon with a PU coating).

i’m working on a 20-metre that will operate at 10km hopefully
and a logitech controller for the flight controls?
pixhawk with a flysky transmitter/receiver. will be moving to it being fully autonomous soon tho
 also, fuck yes.
SICK! Been wanting to try this out too here; love me some airships! Godspeed man, hope you get this right!
also, are you selling these commercially?
not yet! hoping either for a defence grant or to sell to a defence company
I'd honestly buy one, or get it financed possibly. I have a business idea but there are very few manufacturers, so I was looking into it but I ain't an engineer
feel free to dm. i’m australia based tho
Just gonna have to fly in over lol
how large is this? can't tell scale
nvm saw your site. Very cool man!!! https://image.nostr.build/fbee50dd59dc02e965df4cdc8139474503e92620202638e62d085d4cb54f9951.gif
yeah 4-metres. hope to finish my 20-metre in the next couple months
Sweet re 20m! Getting above the troposphere seems like the key milestone.

How do you plan to control altitude?

Ballast? Venting? Heating? Internal IR coatings?
i believe i’ll just need to do venting for descent initially
 he was a pioneer!
