Russia's military is engaged in an intense aerial campaign, dropping glide bombs on its own territory in a bid to block Ukrainian troops from advancing. This shift in tactics comes as Ukrainian forces push deeper into Russian soil, with some reports indicating they have advanced up to 10 miles.

The Russian military's use of glide bombs is intended to slow down the Ukrainian advance until fresh troops can arrive on the front lines. While these weapons are powerful, their inaccuracy poses a risk to civilians in the area. As a result, authorities have ordered an evacuation of the region.
