Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Tuesday that he would not give Democrats anything in exchange for their votes to help save his Speakership, after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) moved to force a vote on ousting him.

The vote to vote begins today at 1:30. If approved, there will be one hour of debate and then the actual vote to oust the Speaker begins Tuesday afternoon.

 @745ecb23 . He probably gets some pension perk for having been Speaker for a few months, not to mention board seats, lobbying jobs. He can coast now.
