 @b870d4c8 If that is what you want. I imported a list of over 1,000 journalists. Not all of them are active. Some are local, so when I saw local news from 5,000 miles away, I unfollowed that account. Everything you do on Mastodon is your choice (within what is available on the platform). I also followed lists of climatologists, other sciences, and a few hundred musicians.

 @b870d4c8 The even cooler thing to do is to MAKE lists of people you follow for interests that you share with others. You can then publish these or give them to friends to import.

You may already know that such importable lists are in the form of CSV files.

 @014c1672 yes I'm making such a list right now. It would be good to be able to import a list and automatically have it rendered as a list as well, not just as new follows.
