What is the use of drug prohibition in all countries, if in all countries you can take any drug you want in any quantity you want?

Think about it, why do governments insist on their prohibition if their prohibition is useless?

Curious facts:

- The government of Morocco itself traffics in drugs, the army itself uses its ships as mother ships, and the lands where marijuana is grown belong to the government.
- Spain is a narco state, entrance of drugs from South America and Africa, police, judges and politicians are involved.
- It has been shown that the CIA has been involved in the control of opium trafficking in Afghanistan and cocaine trafficking in South America.
- Most countries in South America are also narco states.

I would say that in general most governments in the world in one way or another are involved with drug trafficking and by the way they also collect through the confiscation of the profits generated by drugs.

Welcome to Tijuana, con el coyote no hay aduana...
Oh that's easy: to keep the prison industrial complex profitable.

It's evil.
Spain is a narco state, here is a post of mine from more than 6 months ago where I point it out and here is a current news item.

“Arrested the head of money laundering of the Police in Madrid and his partner with more than 20 million hidden inside a wall of his house”.

seems pretty spot on and while, even though I don't agree with it morally, decriminalizing it would take a huge chunk out of the powerbase of governments and cartels
