Not claiming I have the answers, but this type of focus is distracting at best and doesn’t help answer what I feel is the big question: Why, when people have access to guns (black, white, brown or otherwise), do they use them to kill each other? Over 80% of homicides are caused by firearms. People have access to knives, poisons all other kinds of devices at materials that we could kill someone with if all we wanted was someone dead. There is something about the gun and the individual, the combo of the two.
