 They are bad people, so not surprising they do bad things. However, the surprise to me has been how much of a shitcoin the UK legal system is. That has been genuinely shocking.

 The UK is sadly infamous for "libel tourism" for exactly this reason, it is way too easy to use libel laws for fear and intimidation here and way too costly to defend yourself.

You're effectively put in a situation where if you're sued for libel you must prove your innocence.

The real kicker is this is after libel law was reformed in 2013 to try and stop this. Made fuck all difference as this story demonstrates.
