Which Nostr mobile (web) clients support Blossom image upload? And allow (adding) a custom server URL? More generally it would be nice if there was a website tracking which apps support which nips, though it's probably a day job to keep that up to date.
Amethyst lets you set your own media servers. And I just moved over to the next branch of Nostrudel and it specifically supports blossom servers.
Mmm, Amethyst ends up not using my image server, and there's also no log entry on the server side. https://image.nostr.build/8aaf7641daf684bf42d108b8f0e4079653ba7d78e57d57f433e1e17d879a2944.jpg https://image.nostr.build/8aaf7641daf684bf42d108b8f0e4079653ba7d78e57d57f433e1e17d879a2944.jpg cc nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcscpyug
In the sidebar of the app, did you add your media server to the list?
Yes, and it shows up when uploading, but then seems to get ignored. https://image.nostr.build/d8dae5a65c4b9a3ad0a50242795b461c7fe75dadf691970ccf546d44b2571953.jpg
oh weird.
It's version 0.90.3 from the Play Store on GrapheneOS.
I'm on the same version on graphene and it uses my file server just fine. What kind of file server are you hosting?
void-cat-rs but I don't think it even tries to connect
Mmmm. Im using nostrcheck. Not sure I can be much help without seeing logs or a nginx config. And you're saying it's not showing up on your server side of things. I'm not sure what web server you're using, but did you make sure web sockets were enabled? Sorry, I'm just trying to cover the basics.
Blossom works, but if nip 96 uses web sockets then I know what to fix now :-)
I'm pretty sure it does, I just checked my nginx configs, and it's definitely using web sockets
Fixed web sockets I think, but it doesn't help. Even nginx access log does not show any connection attempt.
Mmmmm.
I decided to become a Blossom maxi :-) https://git.v0l.io/Kieran/void-cat-rs/issues/5
Check 0.90.4, I think it fixed it. The issue were the relative urls in your json metadata.
Nostrudel supports this. And yes, that would definitely be a full-time job keeping such a list updated. Could try to make it a community service as a git repo though. Has worked well for my onion relay list.
Correction: Nostrudel's "next" version has this. https://next.nostrudel.ninja/
