woah now that's a hot take
Andromeda fealt like a shitty attempt by incompetent woke b-team retards to ape mass effect. A lot if it can be seen as the half decent scraps of early concepts from real mass effect made into something. It didn't feel low buget, just shitty high budget. Starfield is Todd and bunch of trans pajeets diarrheaing on the retards who bought skyrim 5 times. There is no style, there is greater concept that they're reaching at but not grasping. It feels like youtube unreal tech demo but it looks like shit. There is nothing here but trained hype.
andromeda's biggest mistake was taking a mature franchise with a dark and serious storyline and turning it into a lame, libtarded coming of age story in space. that aside, i had no idea that starfield was that bad. i hadn't planned on buying it (i was gonna pirate it) but i might pass it up altogether unless somehow it can be modded to be enjoyable.
I loved mass effect enough that I could squeeze something, some little drip if value, from Andromeda. I could brute force ignore the woke shit since it mostly came down dumb shit your crew would say that you can 90% just shoot down and piss them off or grotesque side character talking about their gay faggot lovers pronouns that can ignore or tell your not going to waste your time on their gay side quest. I never finished it and it sucks, but I can see myself trying it again out of the same hopeless want for more ME at some point. Starfield just makes me want to sell my xbox even though I've enjoyed playing old games and indie gamepass games for 3 years. It left a worse stink than redfall.
andromeda's combat wasn't so bad. a little spastic for my tastes but better than i expected. the talent/skill tree made no fucking sense at all tho.
