`Zed` a new IDE by the old Atom devs is really cool. Seems to do everything I need it to. Configuration is a little annoying, but it's awesome once setup!

They just started releasing Linux builds too!

I tried it out a few months ago, and it didn't really work easily for my workflow, but seeing your post reminds me to give Zed another shot.
