 @66bf1196 ooch, big problems there for that time. First gcc did have it but took it out for design problems (not just implementation problems). Second, Microsoft had implemented in a *case-sensitive* manner, but as we all know the Windows filesystem is case insensitive.

Any article recommending it without addressing those points is quite iffy.

Ooch!!! Worse yet is that the page the author links to in order to see file support also includes a long section on caveats.

Plus it's no faster. 
 @b4b32f6d Yeah I don't agree with everything on that page either. I'm still using regular include guards like it's 1973.
