Man, I was on twitter back in like 2011 or something like that, was never on it since, but the way that some people on Nostr talk about it, it just sounds like it is constant negativity and cat fights.
Yeah man, I originally got on it in 2011 like you… was way different back then. More than negativity, it is the constant predictive programming of my mental thoughts that drove me off. The algorithm works every second of every minute I spent scrolling there, shaping my mind. Mental shackles. No more.
Is it true that the Twitter algorithm is designed to keep you constantly arguing with people all the time?
Hard to know for sure but definitely wouldn’t be surprised since it’s designed to maximize engagement.

Hundred percent. Engagement and screen time at all cost. I think it even goes beyond that to the point of micro-influencing the decision making of the user… nasty stuff for sure.
