It is a fallacy that a person has to be a jerk to reach the top. 

No one likes assholes! 

People who have their OWN agendas (Users and Hanger-ons) may be nice to them for a while cuz of what they (Assholes who may have money and power temporarily) can do for them (People Users), but as soon as the asshole jerk can’t help them, they will abandon them! 

Those kinds of Users are also assholes! 

ACTUAL loyalty and devotion are created by strong human bonds and it has nothing to do with using other people!
