 @0a734d30 Yes. But. YOU CAN ADD LINKS TO WORDS IN NOTES NOW. They may not know what an email is, but they finally learned what an hyperlink is. 😊

(I’ve made that work with Shortcuts years ago tho)

What I actually wanted was a step further

A shortcut which could *reference* a specific note by ID so I could append to a dedicated log

 @59b0036a I had assumed that if I could generate a link surely “look up by ID for automation” would be *easier*, but alas, they had not yet learned what a hyperlink was

 @0a734d30 Yeah I suspected. I use Obsidian when I need this kind of functionality… I missed it a lot when leaving Bear that totally has and URL schema plus UUIDs for notes :-/

 @0a734d30 @59b0036a all I want over here is a shortcut I can run to assoc my headphones on Bluetooth for one-click handling

I like a lot of things over here (hardware etc) but _dear god_ do apple’s choices of restrictions frustrate me…
