I’ve slowly started eliminating goog/yt from my life.  DDG is my default so thank you for this post.
-Im even using one of those new privacy “unplugged” android phones.  No google location services. Migrating away from gmail next.  Proton.me is almost indistinguishable 
The only thing I really miss is google maps 😢
