 @ba92f80a My grandson is trying right now to convert my old PC to a Linux server. I'll tell him about it. I have used Linux for website servers for years, but I don't want to give up my Windows apps for my PC, I already know all their quirks and how to make them do what I want and I still work on the computer.

I feel like I could build my own, but it would consume me. LOL.

I'm old enough to where I can afford this (not rich, not saying that), but have been wanting to convert and felt under educated with this regard and too busy with raising the kids, family etc, to focus on the switch.

So nice you have a good grandson!

 @ba92f80a I bought him his first computer when he was five, since he was going to be homeschooled. I have feared that I created a monster at times since, with his hiding in his room teen years. But now he is 18 and acting more like a budding adult and I'm pretty proud of him.

Such good news! The teen years are always a bit rough it seems. Praying we skate by with minimal trouble. 🙂
