Need devs
I remember watching the shows last year on Fountain web since it had the splits working. Some of the V4V music shows have been testing doing more live stuff and would love to try tunster or zap.stream but if the artists getting played can’t get paid then it’s a deal breaker. I know we’re using keysend (aka the red headed step child of lightning) but we have podcasters that have the live thing ironed out and just need things to tap into.
With keysend, we would be f*cked if anything ever happened to both Alby and Fountain. We need to crowd the space with innovation and competition. It’s healthy.
As a noderunner I'm never fucked no matter what happens to anyone else 🤪
Does that mean you receive boosts and zaps without keysend?
No it means that my node is capable of receiving keysend payments. And zaps. And on-chain bitcoin payments. And Zaps. And LNURL payments. And ecash. As a node runner, I can interact with any and all Bitcoin payments.
Idk why I said zaps twice maybe I need twice as many zaps now
I’ll zap to that!
I only understand about half of what was said in this thread but........... Lmk if there's anything we can do to help you nerds figure this shit out 😆 I've got a super high quality production MV (plus an extra long director's cut) waiting to hit v4v.
All good! I understand a little 🤣 This is the hill I will die on though: If we want this thing to take off so artists can benefit, we need more people in this space. MOAR #v4v podcasters and let the cream rise. Let the market work 😉 To do that, to truly support artists to deliver their best work and GET PAID, we need great tech, innovators—and it has to be easy for the end user. Or they won’t come. Build it and they will come.
As the Retrograde would say, THATS THE SPIRIT! The potential here is immense. But it takes a whole lot more than raw talent/potential to make it happen. We gotta build the ecosystem and show em what's possible. There's such a thirst out there from both the creator and consumer sides. The trad industry is in massive decline has been ripe for a shakeup for so long now.
You can add the video to your own RSS feed by putting it as the main enclosure tag (this is usually where the audio file goes). I'm sure this is simple to do in RSS Blue and Dovydas could help if needed. Then any Podcasting 2.0 apps that play video will surface it. Podverse definitely works. Fountain had a video player working on web earlier this year, though I haven't checked it in a while, and is totally Nostr integrated.
Works in Podcast Guru!
Oh hell yeah, I LOVE Podcast Guru! And y'all know I'm bullish on those value splits P2.0 enables. 💜 So for now I'd say this is the way... and when v4v music shows adopt a video format and play the video, BAM! Sats!
Any devs out there who can make v4v music videos a thing?! Let's bring back the heyday of MTV. We can call it VTV! nostr:nevent1qqspsywyr24rfxh2zzxswp4nmpse04f7g2qh292l3gj6l9lan0qd7xcprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68yurvv438xtnrdaksyg8wkyvkrvj5g2ck8z07d3lta2dd7zkrdh2edqtw5ugeu5sm3qsmncpsgqqqqqqsq27gad
I think @bonbonsnook is workin’ on that?
We are 😂😂😂
Let us know if there's any way we can help make this a reality
