https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boletus_edulis yes, indeed, it is also a symbiote with pine trees they dry nice, and store for a year or two without cooling and you can throw them in water and boil em for a while and they are very nice in soups, nice texture, tasty

I hope you washed your hands after handling these. It looks like some of that fungi could be contagious. 😛
