Keep seeing some bitcoiners clowning others for voting in this election and completely missing the point
1. Yes monetary debasement will happen under both candidates. We’re not saying otherwise.
2. This is the first election where bitcoin was a topic of discussion. Trump spoke of it positively (even if he doesn’t understand it himself) and the other spent the last 4 years as part of a team that actively attacked the industry around bitcoin.
3. Other common bitcoiner concerns like 2A are clearly in better hands under Trump.
No one is pretending Trump is a world saver or even a great option but when the other option is clearly worse for bitcoin (and other issues) it makes sense to vote
Voting is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. But it doesn't mean you're an idiot just because you voted. Especially not in the short term.
This is one of the top violent agreements among Bitcoiners I guess
My life is short term. I’d rather see the world on a Bitcoin standard while I’m alive. I’ll vote if that means accelerating that process
