But on Search, you will get Random people I believe… 

 I believe it depends on which client/relays you use (I know amethyst and primal allow you to see “global/all” which would include notes from everyone being transmitted on the relays your connected to. 

 Damus has a “Universe” feed where you can see all random posts in chronological order but the typical “Notes” feed only has Notes or Reposts from people I follow. I’m not sure how other clients do it.

 Yeah most clients give you a global feed 

 even so it's not random per say, it's just an overall chronological feed of all the content from the relays that you have added 

 I use primal and only get notes from people I follow.  When I used Iris they had a “global” mode. 

 On Amethyst, I only see people's posts I follow on my feed, unless I browse the "global" tab. 

 Primal has Trending and Latest from those you follow, plus a selection of hashtags 🫡

 It depends on the client. If you’re using Damus, you can just browse the global feed by clicking the search icon and not searching for anything. Use the filter at the top to filter notes from a paid relay like nostr.wine. Otherwise you’re going to see some wild and possible illegal shit. 

 in primal you've got 9 (customizable) feeds by default
