Yeah it’s just that’s the logic trap that perpetuates the dysfunction. If it’s between that or not voting, at least if a third party ever managed to get like 30% of the vote then it sends a message that neither candidate is what we want. Which is important given the current polarization, to show that you don’t support any of the bullshit that the Republican or Democrat ends up doing once they are in power. He probably has a negligible chance of winning, but at the same time if every single person who felt that way stopped caring and did it anyway, a third party candidate could eventually win. It’s just that most people are too opposed to one side or the other to want to take the risk. But to me, both sides are equally horrible and evil. It makes literally no difference to me if we get Harris or Trump, they are both equally garbage.
