What got me was the idea of the union of people. Even if it is intended with bad intentions by the goverment, the people can drive democracy out of govt control and thrive in inimaginable ways not necesarrily detrimental to human condition as how it happens when tried to be tied by governments.
Here in Brazil, censorship still occurs, and some people support it. I’m not sure if it’s due to good intentions, ignorance, or a desire for censorship, but it's definitely a challenging situation.
