Unpopular opinion, but i dont care. Women should not be cops. Its a simple matter of physical strength, and i've heard the arguments that a gun levels the game. But it's common for a cop to get into a physical altercation before a weapon is used, and even a man of small stature is most likely physically stronger than most women. If i were being accosted, i would want a man to defend me. Again, my opinion is simply based on the differences in physical strength between most men and most women. #UnpopularOpinion #grownostr
Would you support the idea of making the requirement physical strength and reject people who don't meet that requirement and accept people that do, regardless of gender?
I think i would if it were actually enforced properly, but over time those requirements would prob fall prey to stupid "equality" mandates.
Ill see your valid women physical aspect and raise you a "i think nobody should be cops as they are unelected enforcers of mostly immoral laws"
Yes, but if it was the aftermath I would want a female cop to take my statement & accompany me to the hospital. So detectives yes, but don’t try to interfere in a domestic situation, you’re gonna get smashed.
Yes, a gun can help even the playing field, but it is better if the cops don't have to shoot someone. A strong looking cop is much less likely to get in a physical altercation. A woman is likely to shoot first and ask questions after.
So how far do you want to go with this? Women in the house or women out of physically strenuous jobs or what?
My post was about women as cops, thats it.
In that case, more often then not women should not be cops out in the field
I think every cop should do a full contact martial art like BJJ.
