Single barrel gun with digital target acquisition and assignment
= a Plugin Mini-Gepard Module to Go

A good solution to target the countless drones the ruZZian invaders are using to attack civilian infrastructure like electricity, heating infrastructure etc.

Could use a few thousand on the front line also

I would say that the use of “technicals” that are non-armored directly on the Ukrainian frontline would be another waste of resources. The frontline needs armored vehicles to protect the personnel and for various reasons also tracked platform = Gepard or likewise. Further behind the front outside of the reach of FPV this platform makes perfect sense to protect military installations and civilian infrastructure.
@d31790e4 @60c75898 i think the gepard suffers from single munition capability. Afaik is that not only a hassle cause it's uncommon, but also very expensive, read about 1000€ per shot.So maybe one (or two) 5.56mm for small fpv drones, 12,7mm for anything bigger or beyong range of the small bullets and something like 25mm+ for long-range/big stuff. Occasionally, UA attempted to shoot down a cruise missile with gepard and once it worked - so that system could maybe handle all subpatriot threats

Different categories of target classes between the two systems should not be confused.

Gepard: Cruise Missile, Fighter Airplane and Attack Helicopter (Armored!) and then the bigger drones (mopeds) plus ground targets like armored vehicles, logistic vehicles on the frontline etc. within range

Slinger: All types of drones from moped drone to reconnaissance down to FPV.

Still a gap: Direct FPV Attack frontline defense.
