 Is there a trick to make the monitor stay off while running startos instead of it coming on and off when the system isnt in use?

 Don't use a monitor? Servers usually run headless.

 Thank you for the reply. 
Indeed, I just swapped from a lenovo tiny to an optiplex AIO and I may swap back because It allows me to just disconnect the monitor although the AIO screen is off more than its on so its pretty good anyway.
