"no user profile IDs of any kind, not even random numbers, cryptographic keys or hashes that identify the users"

I still don't like this and I will keep harping on this. If users have no ID they cannot be reached. SimpleX offers multiple, separate IDs per user to inhibit correlation and controls for users over their IDs.

What's worse is that it implies that user IDs are a bad thing. They are the essence of users being able to maintain long-term online relationships and build reputation. We need more of that not less.
 DNS-based contact/group discovery is planned :) https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplex-chat#roadmap
What for. The cryptographic identities are just fine and don't need another layer. We can pass them around instead of DNS names. I can print a QR code on my business card.

SimpleX needs to owe up to using IDs and advertise the fact as a Good Thing (tm).
It's optional. Some people may find use of them, I see this especially benefitial for businesses
You can create an address, its a long term way of contact and you can print your QR code
I like to use Nostr as a way to maintan a long tern identity and reputation. SimpleX is private messaging

There are groups and plans to extend groups to something more scalable.

As for nostr, a bridge that bridges the gap between nostr and SimpleX, e.g. linking nostr and SimpleX IDs via certificates.

Also detaching the ID from the SMP server would be good. It should *just* be the key. The server that hosts the queue should be discovered the same way nostr discovers the relay that has a particular event.

Something went wrong with the SimpleX contact address in your nostr profile. It's somehow duplicate.
 It works fine?
Looks weird. It probably works in spite of the duplication.
Agree with this and like Simplex as it is
Clearly Signl is the messenger from your dreams
