Is this thing good/secure enought? My dad gave it to me as Birthday gift the last year but I haven't never used it. Any feedback? You recommend it? https://image.nostr.build/8c2eabe2729d7bac9d8c8280a936b110ad8b74bfcfb9946ba5d4c7b589818baf.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&dim=780x1040&blurhash=_DEL%3FA%7EW%2BZ%3D_XUxvNG4.9aI%3DIpNGaxs%3A00i_t%2CozngIVxax%5ExaMxs.kCofNGSiIoaK9u%253-pR%25-T%252%3FH%251xYRks%3A%251bHR*%251E1M%7Cj%5D%25LofE1M%7CNcR%2BNGNHIoIpR%2Bxut6xa&x=5d6f6b51cfd382fd026fa9ae910dc24923fede512522c9d37facbd59e1ca1fd5 #wallet #plebchain #plebs
Its fine with a passphrase. Use it with sparrow wallet instead of trezor suite
Does it count as self custody?
Definitely use with Sparrow Wallet. Yes, it's self custody. Note, there are big differences between Lightning and Bitcoin networks.

Does it count as self custody?
Yes, but that list of “pros” and “cons” is hilarious.
Yes. Better then most apps. Its a decent starter wallet. But i like Jade better.
I would stick to bitcoin only signing devices. My favourite is coldcard. Jade is excellent too. Heard really good things about Passport
It was a gift so I can't really complain haha
Free is always good! I think there’s a way to install a bitcoin only software on it. Maybe there’s more info on trezor’s website
Yes you can configure it to no shitcoin mode 😁 it’s legit. Works very well.
I'm gonna put a 1 btc on it and forget about it for ten years. (Dreaming)
Lol funny you say that because that’s kinda my plan today 😂
I have it, btc only. No complaints. But I have no knowledge around. @The Bohemian Bitcoiner
This is fine as long as it's purchased from a reputable seller. Make sure the firmware is current.
It's fine. Would recommend using with a simple pass phrase or as part of a multisig setup.
It is good enough. But you should start everything new, hard reset it , generate new recovery seed and keep it securely offline
Your post is attracting a lot of attention. Added to the https://nostraco.in/hot feed
Like anything computer related the answer is it, depends on you computer, software, and programming skill level. These hardware solution are great for those without this skill set. For those with these skill sets, you can certain build your own cold storage solution which is likely as good or better than the hardware solutions you can purchase. The question is do you want to hand off this responsibility to some hardware device or do you want to roll your own solution? I won't buy any hardware device like this until the day come were I can purchase one at a local gas station.
I have no experience with Trezor only with the @Coinkite (old npup) ‘s ColdCard which is awesome.
