I don’t think it’s absurd. Bitcoin reveals a person’s true nature. Once he gets Bitcoin right, I’ll consider the rest. 

 I also don’t listen to vegans, vaxx hysterics, or communists. That’s not a logical fallacy, it’s efficiency.
