@hodlwithBinsky cause when I was in the Caribbean, I found ceramic fragments that I identified as similar to those from the 7th-6th century BC found in various Mediterranean locations. This sparked my curiosity! nostr:note1lx7pdkvzuh48xwpr045qmyeqke9yp8gpzwl6rf22pdyx3dk7ay8qncffn9
I found them in the ocean
Are you some kind of Lara Croft ? You got the curiosity explorer mind, and the tits!
 Yeah, thanks ObjectiF Moon
Okay now I do wanna visit the bermuda triangle! Bring it on

Hahaha. No idea what I got myself into tbh 😅
Wow for real? Did you post about this?
I have noticed that there is little interest from America in archaeology within and around its borders; they prefer to take credit for the creation of the country from the colonies. A change in history would alter the reputation of U.S. history.

It's unlikely that world travel was not a thing 500k-10k years ago.
The 6-7th century has no connection to 500-10k years ago. However, there could be hundreds of reasons why that ceramic is found in the ocean. I have my own theory, of course.

Big point is that ocean travel is the norm, not the exception, and always has been.
I don't believe everything is about travel, but also about geological changes and natural disasters. Have you heard of the theory that we are like a disease on Earth, growing like cancerous metastases, and at some point, the planet's immune response tries to wipe us out?

Yes, and it's tempting to believe. It seems to me more likely that a delusional humanity is merely experiencing the consequences of its actions.
do you think the ancient authors were as delusional as I am?
Harder to get published back then, so doubtful :p
 But not impossible
True, Revelations got published, and some of that is close to your level :p
don't say this as a joke because it hurts me 😒
Did you publish about your ceramic finds?
Oh no! My experience in archaeology, unfortunately, wasn’t very long, just a few years. After that, I worked in journalism, contemporary and independent art, graphic design, and a little bit in computer sciences.
Religious books are symbolism not literality.
I'm not only talking about the religious books but also about the writings of ancient philosophers and the works of ancient Greek authors such as Thucydides, Seneca, Aristotle, and others who discussed ancient civilizations
This is one of the better conversations I’ve been involved in. Grateful for this
 Glad to hear it!
Even micro-hellthreads are the lifeblood of the fediverse! Cheers
 Glad to hear it 🫀
