And to your point too, this use of the phrase our democracy, it's designed, in my view, to say the results of elections or the decisions that individual people make aren't the important thing anymore. It's not the democratic process that matters. It's the institutions in which people exercise power, whether it's the media or Congress or the executive branch, that that's what they mean when they say ‘our democracy.’ They mean the institutions where we accumulate power and wealth. That's what they're trying to protect. It's not individual rights or constitutional liberty. And if you don't understand that, you're behind the curve.
