I was doing breathwork every day for almost one year before the lockdowns period. I think it didn't help me in understanding deeply which psychological baggage and traumas I was carrying around, but it was a game changer in making me more present and at ease, spacious in my mind. I felt like a different person.
Yes!!! I see it as a pre-requisite to the internal identity/trauma work you’d work on with a clinician. So happy to hear it helped you feel more clear and aligned with yourself.
Yes, it probably should be incorporated as daily practice for people who see clinicians, I wonder why it is not constantly used as a base in psychotherapies toolbox. This thread is making me thinking to start this again. Do you do it regularly?
Everyday! Changed my life. And 100% on the psychotherapy piece. I’m in school to become a therapist and hope to flip this on its head and advocate for a bottom up approach to healing on a global scale
