TON Society issues open letter to France urging Pavel Durov’s release

The Open Network Society, an independent group representing the TON community, issued an open letter to French authorities urging the immediate release of Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov following his arrest at Le Bourget Airport on Aug. 24.

 The letter strongly criticizes Durov's arrest, labeling it an attack on freedom of expression and a violation of fundamental human rights. The TON Society argues that such actions undermine the principles of free speech that are essential in democratic societies
