Churches could solve the problem of men leaving en masse if they actually taught what scripture says. I have never, ever, heard a sermon telling women to obey their husbands, or the duties they have to their husbands and children, but there's endless platitudes and lecturing on how men have to man up and 'do the Christian thing' and marry used up whores. 

 @a0026d72 I've heard so many bullshit sermons. I walked out of a sermon on the environment at a prot church. It was 300 years old. I just don't have any respect for that institution anymore.
Best sermon I ever heard was a Catholic priest rambling about the Kennedy assassination, not a joke.
