Also, I understand John Riccitiello (of EA fame) dumped 2000 shares of Unity's stock just before making this announcement. Now that they're worth a fraction of what he made on them, he's in a good position to buy them all back or more, for pennies on the dollar.

While hypothesizing about insider trading is always fun, this is a routine (pre-planned) stock option exercise + sale.

Corporate evil aside from certain notable examples (FTX) tends to be competent, and risking insider trading charges for 80k USD is fucking retarded, especially when holding well over 3.2 million shares (and 424k shares worth of stock options).
