History teaches us that you can’t look to people with expertise in a single domain to provide you with answers to all of your questions. Yet, this is precisely the trap people fall into constantly. I see it happening everywhere.

Don’t be a fool and understand that that smart person you trust in one area is probably wrong in others.
The lesson humanity has learned from history is that humanity never learns from history. 😂
I learned that many years ago 😂
People often regret making mistakes because they forget some simple life truths that haven't been used for a long time, especially in emotional or conformist states.
💯 Reminds me of the Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect.
Sadly this is often the case. “Who will lead me? Who can I outsource my thinking to?”
You should absolutely do your own thinking in your tribe. If your tribe is lead by an idiot, planning counts for nothing.
i'm not really buying into the idea that humans should eschew their own ability to judge and initiate, at all

but going along with the group for a purpose has a reason behind it and lets you cut down on messaging cycles

i'd describe it as "i'll focus on what's around me and do my best to pay attention to those who seem to know what is important to all of us"

upon that ground is the deception and the redemption
